Rome – Italy
Learn To Speak The Italian Language In The Heart Of Italy
Come To Rome & Learn To Speak Italian
La “dolce vita”, the sweet life, most aptly describes Rome! Overflowing with art, culture, ruins, and a vibrant street life, the Eternal City is easily one of the world’s most romantic and inspirational places.
From the café culture, to the great monuments, artistic heritage, and world class museums. Reminders of Rome’s 3000 year history are the ancient monuments such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Pantheon, as the Romans considered their city the “caput mundi” or world capital for centuries.
Add to that Rome’s historical role as seat of the Catholic Church with St Peter’s Basilica as the Vatican’s showy Renaissance cathedral and you have a unique cultural and historic paradise!
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the romantic city of Rome. The charm of the ancient world brought me to tears. And I left my heart there coming out speaking better Italian than I ever could imagine!"

Artistic Heritage of Rome
Throughout history Rome has attracted top artists, leaving priceless treasures throughout the city, including ancient statues, churches adorned with intricate mosaics and frescoes, Michelangelo sculptures, Bernini fountains, frescoes by Raphael, etc., all easily accessible and part of the Romans’ daily lives.
Eating out is a real delight in Rome with the combination of romantic settings and fantastic food guaranteeing a superlative experience. Live like a local and hit the pizzerias or neighborhood trattorias; learn to ask the waiter’s recommendations for food and wine and you’ll get the best on the menu! Finish the experience with Roman Gelato and a “café”, which is always expresso unless otherwise specified.
While there’s no necessity to leave Rome, one can easily venture out to the north or south by trains, planes and automobiles to Tuscany, Liguria, Amalfi Coast, Puglia, etc., any number of welcoming destinations.
Weather year round is pleasant although Roman summers can be a bit stifling with average July temperatures close to 80 degrees. December temperatures average around 45 degrees with three to four inches of rain, making it the wettest month of the year.
